Thermal Images of Kyushu Island in the Nighttime Observation by LANDSAT

Among the LANDSAT series first launched by USA in 1972, the last one, Landsat-5 launched in 1984, is continuing observation with the period of 16 days for a specific path with the width 185 km in daytime. Kyushu is subjected to observation at about 10:10 with the descending path No.112 covering the main part except for western part. The nighttime observation at about 21:30 is done after 5 days with the ascending path No.211. Here we show thermal infrared images mainly in the form of pseudo color representation.
